How to view and manage an invoice
When you open an invoice, Bizwazi shows the full invoice workspace. This is where you can view customer details, invoice dates, balance, items, summary, delivery history, payment history, invoice history, and action buttons.
Main actions
- Back to invoices returns to the invoice list.
- Edit lets you change invoice details where allowed.
- Print view opens a printer-friendly version.
- Download PDF saves the invoice as a PDF.
- Email invoice sends the invoice by email if email is configured.
- Open in WhatsApp helps share the invoice through WhatsApp.
- Duplicate invoice creates a new invoice based on the current one.
- Mark as sent manually records that you sent the invoice outside Bizwazi.
- Delete removes the invoice where allowed.
- Invoice settings opens business invoice details such as payment instructions or footer settings.
Invoice detail areas
- Customer shows who the invoice is for.
- Issue date shows when the invoice was issued.
- Due date shows when payment is expected.
- Balance due shows what remains unpaid.
- From shows your business details.
- To shows the customer details.
- Summary shows subtotal, discount, amount paid, balance due, and total.
- Items shows the invoice lines.
- Delivery shows email, WhatsApp, PDF download, manual sent, and last shared activity.
- Payment history shows payments recorded against the invoice.
- Invoice history shows important actions recorded against the invoice.
- Record payment lets you add a full or partial payment.
