Invoices
How to send, print, download or share an invoice
Learn the difference between Email invoice, Open in WhatsApp, Download PDF, Print view, and Mark as sent.
Bizwazi gives several ways to deliver an invoice to a customer. You can email it, share it on WhatsApp, download a PDF, print it, or manually mark it as sent.
Email invoice
- Use Email invoice when you want Bizwazi to send the invoice by email.
- The customer should have a valid email address saved.
- The Delivery section can record that the invoice was emailed.
- If the customer says they did not receive it, check the email address and ask them to check spam or junk.
Open in WhatsApp
- Use Open in WhatsApp when the customer prefers WhatsApp communication.
- This is useful in Kenya because many customers and small businesses communicate through WhatsApp.
- You can send a message with invoice details or a link, depending on your setup.
- The Delivery section can show WhatsApp activity where recorded.
- Use Download PDF when you want a file copy.
- PDFs can be sent manually, printed, saved, or shared with an accountant.
- The Delivery section can record PDF download activity.
Print view
- Use Print view when you want a cleaner page for printing.
- This is useful if the customer wants a paper copy.
Mark as sent
- Use Mark as sent if you sent the invoice outside Bizwazi.
- Example: you printed it and handed it to the customer.
- Example: you sent the PDF manually by email or WhatsApp.
- This helps your delivery records stay accurate.
