How invoice delivery tracking works

The Delivery panel shows how the invoice has been shared or handled. This helps you know whether the customer has been given the invoice.

Delivery fields

• Emailed shows when the invoice was emailed.
• WhatsApp sent shows when WhatsApp sharing was recorded.
• PDF downloaded shows when the invoice PDF was downloaded.
• Marked sent manually shows when someone manually marked the invoice as sent.
• Last shared shows the latest recorded delivery or sharing activity.

Why delivery tracking helps

• You can tell whether an invoice was actually sent.
• You can avoid chasing a customer before sending the invoice.
• You can prove internally that the invoice was shared.
• You can identify invoices that are not sent yet.

Example

• A supplier in Nairobi sends an invoice by WhatsApp and later marks it as sent. A week later, the owner can see the invoice was shared and can follow up confidently.
