Understanding the Bills page

The Bills page gives you a quick view of supplier bills and business costs that have been saved in Bizwazi.

At the top of the page, you will see summary cards.

Outstanding balance

The Outstanding Balance card shows the total amount still owing on open supplier bills.

This is useful because it tells you how much your business still needs to pay.

If a bill has been partly paid, only the remaining balance should count towards the outstanding balance.

Open bills

The Open Bills card shows bills that are not fully paid.

This normally includes bills with statuses such as:

  • Unpaid
  • Part Paid
  • Overdue

Open bills help you see what still needs attention.

Overdue bills

The Overdue Bills card shows bills that are past their due date and still unpaid.

This helps you avoid missing supplier payments.

If a bill has no due date, it will not normally become overdue based on date.

Total bills

The Total Bills card shows all saved supplier bills.

This includes paid, unpaid, cancelled, draft, and other saved bill records.

Create Bill

Use Create Bill when you want to add a new supplier bill, receipt, purchase invoice, or stock purchase.

Back to Business

Use Back to Business to return to the main business area.
