How to record a supplier bill paid in parts

Supplier bills can be paid in stages if your business does not pay the full amount at once.

Example

• If a supplier bill is KSh 30,000 and you pay KSh 10,000 today, the remaining balance is KSh 20,000.

Steps

1. Open the bill.
2. Record the first payment.
3. Check the remaining balance.
4. Record future payments when made.
5. Check the bill status after each payment.
