What to do if you entered the wrong sale amount

Correct a sale amount that was typed incorrectly.

A wrong sale amount can affect sales totals, profit and account balances.

Steps

  1. Open Sales.
  2. Find the incorrect sale.
  3. Choose Edit if the sale is editable.
  4. Correct the amount.
  5. Save the sale.
  6. Check the dashboard and reports again.

Important

  • If the sale came from an invoice payment, correct the payment from the invoice page instead.
