How to understand stock-linked sales in the sales list
Learn what stock-linked sales mean after they appear in the All sales list.
Stock-linked sales are sales created from inventory items. In the All sales list, they show that the sale was connected to stock and that Bizwazi used inventory lines to calculate or explain the sale.
What a stock-linked sale shows
- The Type column shows Stock-linked.
- The category may show the selected sales category.
- The account shows where the money was received.
- The note or details may show the stock items sold.
- The amount shows the total sale value.
Why stock-linked sales are useful
- They help connect sales income to stock movement.
- They reduce inventory automatically.

What to check if stock looks wrong
