Sales
How the All sales list works
Understand the sales table, sale type, category, account, note, amount, and actions.
The All sales list shows individual sales records. This is where you review what has been recorded, check details, open linked invoices, and find mistakes.
Columns in the sales list
- Sold at shows the date and time the sale was recorded for.
- Type shows whether the sale is manual, stock-linked, or from an invoice.
- Category shows the sales category, such as Groceries, Cargo, Invoice payment, or no category.
- Account shows where the money was received, such as Cash, M-PESA, or Bank/Card.
- Note shows extra information about the sale.
- Amount shows the value of the sale in KSh.
- Actions show what you can do next, such as Edit, Delete, or View invoice.
Sale types shown in the list
- Manual sales are ordinary sales entered directly by amount.
- Stock-linked sales are sales created from inventory items and quantities.
- From invoice rows are invoice payments recorded through the invoice workflow.
Why the list is useful
- It helps you find missing sales, duplicate sales, wrong accounts, wrong categories, and wrong amounts.
- It helps you confirm whether sales were recorded under Cash, M-PESA, or Bank/Card.
- It helps you trace invoice payment sales back to the original invoice.
