How to edit a sale
Edit a sale if the amount, account, category, note or inventory details were entered wrongly.
Sales can sometimes be corrected after they are entered.
Steps
- Open Sales.
- Find the sale you want to correct.
- Choose Edit if the sale is editable.
- Update the amount, account, category, note or inventory lines.
- Save the changes.
- Check the dashboard or reports if the sale affected totals.
Important
- Invoice-payment sales should usually be edited from the invoice page, not directly from Sales.
