How the Sales tracker works
Understand the coloured Sales tracker cards for Today, This week, Month to date, Year to date, and Since start.
The Sales tracker is the row of coloured cards near the top of the Sales page. It gives a quick view of how much income has been recorded for different business periods.
What each tracker card means
- Today shows sales recorded for the current trading day.
- This week shows sales for the current Monday-to-Sunday week.
- Month to date shows sales from the first day of the current month up to the current date.
- Year to date shows sales from the first day of the current year up to the current date.
- Since start shows all recorded sales since your Bizwazi records began.
How to use the tracker
- Tap a coloured card to filter the sales list by that period.
- Use Today when checking whether today’s income has been entered correctly.
- Use This week when reviewing weekly performance.
- Use Month to date when checking how the current month is progressing.
- Use Year to date when reviewing longer-term performance.
- Use Since start when you want to see the whole sales history.
Important to understand
- The tracker shows recorded sales, not necessarily cash physically counted.
- If a sale was entered under the wrong account, the tracker may still show the income, but the account balance may be wrong.
- If a sale was forgotten, the period total will be too low.
- If a sale was entered twice, the period total will be too high.
