Understand top categories, largest expense, and spending by account.
The This week insights section explains what is happening with expenses during the current week. It helps you understand the type of spending, the biggest cost, and which account the money came from.
Top categories
- Top categories shows which expense categories have the highest spending this week.
- This helps you see whether costs are mainly from stock, transport, rent, wages, utilities, fees, repairs, or another category.
- If there are no expenses this week, Bizwazi shows that clearly.
Largest expense
- Largest expense shows the biggest single expense in the weekly period.
- This is useful for quickly spotting large stock purchases, rent, wages, repairs, or supplier payments.
- If the largest expense looks wrong, open the expense list and check the amount, account, date, category, and note.
Spending by account
- Spending by account shows how much spending came from Cash, M-PESA, and Bank/Card.
- This helps explain why one account balance reduced more than another.
- It is especially useful before checking daily balances on the Dashboard.
