How the Bizwazi Home dashboard works
Understand the main sections on the Bizwazi dashboard.
The Bizwazi Home dashboard is designed to help a small business owner answer one important question: does today’s business money make sense?
What to check
- The top section shows the current trading day overview.
- The start balance section records the real opening balances for Cash, M-PESA, and Bank.
- The expected end section calculates what Bizwazi thinks each account should contain after sales, expenses, and transfers.
- The end balance section records the real closing balances.
- The discrepancy section helps you investigate missing or extra money.
- The transfers section lets you record money moved between Cash, M-PESA, and Bank/Card.
- The profit performance section shows today, this week, this month, average transaction size, and projected monthly figures.
- The trends section shows recent movement in sales, expenses, profit, and true discrepancy.
- The reports and weekly history sections help you review older periods.
Useful tips
- The dashboard is not just a summary page. It is a daily control page.
- If the numbers look wrong, check the daily reconciliation section first.
- If a sale, expense, or transfer is missing, add it before judging the discrepancy.
