How to use supplier risk cards
Use Top linked suppliers, Low-stock suppliers, Out-of-stock suppliers, and Unlinked inventory to improve stock and supplier control.
The supplier risk cards help you spot supplier-related issues quickly. They are especially useful when suppliers are linked to inventory and bills.
Top linked suppliers
- This shows suppliers with the most linked stock and bill activity.
- A supplier with many linked records may be important to your business.
- Review these suppliers regularly because stock or bill problems with them could affect daily trading.
Low-stock suppliers
- This shows suppliers connected to items currently low in stock.
- Use this to prepare supplier orders.
- If a supplier appears here often, you may need better reorder timing or a higher low-stock alert level.
Out-of-stock suppliers
- This shows suppliers connected to items that are out of stock.
- Use this to contact the supplier or review whether the item should remain active.
Unlinked inventory
- This shows inventory items that are not linked to any supplier.
- Use Review unlinked stock to find items that should have a supplier.
- Linking stock to suppliers makes reordering and reporting clearer.
Example
- If Mombasa Wholesale Suppliers appears under Low-stock suppliers, this means one or more items from that supplier need attention. You can open inventory, review the item, and decide whether to reorder.
