Why did my stock not reduce?
Check whether the sale or invoice item was properly linked to an inventory item.
If stock did not reduce, the most common reason is that the sale or invoice line was not linked to an inventory item.
Check these things
- Was an actual inventory item selected?
- Was the quantity entered correctly?
- Was the sale saved successfully?
- Was the item inactive or unavailable?
- Was the stock adjustment expected to happen from an invoice or from a sale?
Common mistake
Typing the item name in a note or description is not the same as selecting the inventory item. Stock can only reduce when Bizwazi knows which inventory item is linked.

Open the sale, invoice or inventory item and check the linked item and stock movement history.
