Why can I not delete a supplier?
Suppliers may be protected from deletion when they are linked to inventory, bills or other records.
Bizwazi may stop a supplier from being deleted if that supplier is already linked to important business records.
Common reasons
- The supplier is linked to inventory items.
- The supplier has bills.
- The supplier is part of business history that should be kept.
Why Bizwazi protects linked suppliers
Deleting a linked supplier could make old inventory or bill records harder to understand.
What to do instead
If you no longer use the supplier, mark the supplier inactive if that option is available, or remove links carefully before deleting.
