How the Bizwazi Accounts page works
Understand the main sections on the Accounts page.
The Accounts page is designed to show your running money position across the main places where small business money is kept: Cash, M-PESA, and Bank.
What to check
- The top summary cards show total money, money in, money out, and net movement.
- The Cash card shows cash on hand and how it changed.
- The M-PESA card shows mobile money and how it changed.
- The Bank card shows bank or card balance and how it changed.
- The stable/health panel tells you whether balances look normal or need attention.
- The account breakdown table shows the same information in a row-by-row format.
- The activity section shows what changed the balances during the selected period.
- The opening balances section lets you view or edit the starting balances used by Bizwazi.
Useful tips
- Accounts is a running position page.
- If the account balances look wrong, check opening balances, sales, expenses, and transfers.
- For real end-of-day cash checks, use Home → Daily reconciliation.
