How offline expenses work

Record supported expenses when offline and sync them later.

Bizwazi can protect supported expenses when your internet connection is unavailable.

How to use it

  1. Add the expense as normal.
  2. Select the expense category.
  3. Enter the amount, account, date, and notes.
  4. If internet is unavailable, Bizwazi can save the supported expense on your device.
  5. When the connection returns, Bizwazi can upload the expense to your online records.

Real-world example

A food seller buys cooking oil from a supplier while away from the shop. The internet is poor at that location. The seller records the expense immediately instead of waiting until later. When the phone reconnects, the expense can sync.

Why this matters

Many small business expenses are forgotten if they are not recorded immediately. Offline expense protection helps you capture costs while they are still fresh.

Important note

If the expense has not synced yet, it may not appear immediately on the normal Expenses page or on another device.
