When to use Business instead of Home, Accounts, Sales or Expenses

Know when the Business page is the right place to go.

The bottom navigation pages each have a different job. The Business page is for managing the structured business records behind customers, invoices, inventory, suppliers, and bills.

What to check

  • Use Home for trading day overview, daily reconciliation, discrepancies, trends, reports, and weekly history.
  • Use Accounts to see where money is now across Cash, M-PESA, and Bank.
  • Use Business to manage customers, invoices, inventory, suppliers, bills, invoice details, and financial overview.
  • Use Sales to record or review sales.
  • Use Expenses to record or review expenses.

Useful tips

  • Business is the best page when you need to manage records, not just enter today’s money.
  • If you are checking money owed by customers, use Business then Invoices or Customers.
  • If you are checking money owed to suppliers, use Business then Bills or Suppliers.
  • If you are checking stock, use Business then Inventory.
