How Invoices work on the Business page
Understand the Invoices card, draft invoices, open invoices, and paid invoices.
The Invoices card helps you create and track money expected from customers. It shows the total number of invoices and breaks them into important statuses.
What to check
- Total shows how many invoices exist.
- Draft shows invoices that have been created but may not yet be ready to send.
- Open shows invoices that still need attention or payment.
- Paid shows invoices that have been settled.
- View invoices opens the invoice list.
- Create invoice starts a new invoice.
- Preview latest opens the most recent invoice preview if one is available.
Useful tips
- Use draft invoices when you are still preparing the invoice.
- Use open invoices to follow up money still expected from customers.
- Record invoice payments properly so customer balances and reports stay accurate.
- Do not treat an unpaid invoice as cash already received.
