M-PESA to Bank transfer example

Record M-PESA collections moved to the bank.

When M-PESA money is moved to the bank, record it as a transfer.

Steps

  1. Open Transfers.
  2. Choose M-PESA as the from account.
  3. Choose Bank as the to account.
  4. Enter the amount moved.
  5. Add a note if needed.
  6. Save the transfer.

Effect on balances

  • M-PESA decreases and Bank increases by the transfer amount.
